What is the Balanced by chris and why I started this?

I didn’t plan to start a wellness project.

It began with fear and turned into obsession.

After watching my mother decline—losing pieces of her memory, her joy, her identity, I couldn’t sit with the “it’s just aging” explanation.

I started reading. At first, it was just curiosity.

But soon, it became hours a day, PubMed studies, neuroscience articles, anything that could explain what was really happening.

I filled notebooks. Built spreadsheets.

Tested insights on myself. Then with friends. Then quietly helped others who felt “off” but couldn’t explain why.

That’s When Everything Changed for Me

I didn’t look for pills or treatments. I started looking for patterns.

I became obsessed with the real why behind energy crashes, mood swings, and mental fog especially after 40.

I spent hours a day on PubMed, neuroscience blogs, journals, trying to connect the dots most doctors skip right over.

And the deeper I went, the clearer it became:

There’s a hidden rhythm in the way we eat, move, and live...

And when it falls out of sync, your brain and body feel it fast.
